Our Markets

We operate a number of different markets which can be categorised as Indoor, Outdoor and Events.

INDOOR MARKETS

The Indoor Markets trade predominantly under our Market Village fascia, typically within established shopping centres and include such iconic markets as Brixton Village & Market Row.

We also have another iconic indoor market which stands alone from the Market Village brand. Forge Indoor Market in Glasgow which is the largest indoor market in Scotland and recently celebrated its twentieth year serving the wider Glasgow communities.

OUTDOOR MARKETS

The Outdoor Markets are more commonly operated in partnership with local authorities and these include Charter Markets and traditional markets. We operate these markets in the beautiful lake district towns of Allerdale as well as the historic market in Stratford Upon Avon.

Events markets

The Events Markets include our Christmas Markets, Food and Drink Festivals, Wine Merchants Trade Fayres and International Street Market brand which operates throughout the UK, and Scandinavia. In Sweden and Denmark, the International Street Market and Italian Market put on some of the best and world renowned street markets in Europe, with an unrivalled reputation for quality, diversity and service.

BRIXTON VILLAGE & MARKET ROW

Set against the backdrop of Grade II. Listed buildings, our award-winning iconic indoor markets continue to grow in popularity and offer a diverse and eclectic mix of traditional market stalls, quirky artisan treats and high class food.

Visit by day and see the hustle and bustle of an historic market. Visit at night and be mesmerised by the transformation into a food and drink paradise.

Brixton is recorded as ‘Brixges Stane’ in 1062, and as ‘Brixistan’ in the Doomsday Book. The name is believed derived from the personal name of the Saxon Beorhtric and the Old English word stane, meaning ‘stone’. Stones were conveniently used as meeting points.

Why not use Brixton Village & Market Row as your meeting point?
