Geraud Markets has been appointed as the new market management company by Transport for London to operate its Seven Sisters Market.
The company has over 20 years’ of professional operational expertise in leading retail and wholesale market propositions across the UK.
Director of Sales & Business Development, Scott Hamilton, said:
“We are delighted to have been awarded the contract to operate Seven Sisters Market.”
“We’re passionate about our business and have a wealth of industry experience working with traders, new cultures and local communities. We believe a thriving market is the heart of any local community and we will be holding consultations with traders to outline our plans going forward”.
“In the first instance, we will introduce ourselves to the traders, become more familiar with the building, begin work to formalise new agreements with the current business owners and introduce ways of working that will help the market and its traders to reopen safely.”
As part of their ongoing strategy, Geraud pledges to improve the quality and operational delivery of better market days, through direct management of day to day operations.
“Our history also gives us unique insight into shopping cultures across Europe, so we know exactly what makes a market day special and will be working with traders to do everything we can to deliver this”.
