London is known as the city in the centre of the world, full of culture, and steeped in history. As the capital of Britain, London not only houses the seat of Government but also the official residence of the Queen. The River Thames runs through London from Richmond to Greenwich, with river cruises and buses offering a great way to see the city. There are more than 6000 restaurants in London, over 200 museums, and a whole host of art galleries and theatres to visit. London has an excellent transport system, with the Tube, buses, and taxis, it’s easy to get around the city quickly.
