Allerdale – Workington

Workington is a historic industrial coal and steel town in the north west of the Cumbrian coastline at the mouth of the River Derwent. It now forms the beginning of the sea-sea cycle route across the North of England, starting in Workington and ending in Cockermouth. Our Market is held in Workington town centre on Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout the year.
