Grange Over Sands – Prom Art

DESCRIPTION

After 12 years of successful fairs, Prom Art joined forces with Groupe Geraud to provide a feast for the eyes in 2017, for both residents and visitors to Grange-Over-Sands.

Cumbria’s largest arts and craft fair continued over the summer months in Grange-Over-Sands. The Prom Art 2017 sprawled along the Victorian Seafront Prom overlooking Morecambe Bay.

Visitors enjoyed a walk along the sunny Victorian sea front whilst admiring art work. Prom Art 2017 boasted up to 60 exhibitors, with art ranging from paintings, handmade jewellery, photography and glasswork, as well as many other crafts.

All exhibitors were required to produce their own work, so each stall brought a piece of the artist’s personality. The market ran on the last Sunday of each month since May.

Philip Lamb Managing Director of Geraud UK said: “We were delighted to be involved in this year’s Prom Art. The exhibition has been in production for 12 years and Groupe Geraud enjoyed bringing our expertise to what is already a fun and cultural day.”

I would like to thank you for the the market here in Katrineholm. We were very happy and satisfied with the result and all residents have appreciated this enormously. What fantastic weather we had and incredible food eaten.  Hope to see you again next year – we would love to welcome you back!
