Groupe Geraud is encourage market sellers and communities to give back to the charities that support their local area, in some good old-fashioned fund-raising fun, starting with a tombola.

Over the next year, 52 local and national charities will be invited to The Forge Market, Glasgow in the hopes to raise funds. Prizes have been generously donated by the regular stall holders, in the hope to raise the target of £25,000.

The initiative launched Thursday 24th August 2017 with Marie Curie being the first charity involved. The launch event raised an on-target amount of £629.

Philip Lamb Managing Director of Geraud UK said: “We put value in our markets being the heart of the local community and the Charity 52 Initiative is a great way for stall holders and ourselves to give back over the next year.”

I would like to thank you for the the market here in Katrineholm. We were very happy and satisfied with the result and all residents have appreciated this enormously. What fantastic weather we had and incredible food eaten.  Hope to see you again next year – we would love to welcome you back!
